Billlie, recognized as a unique storytelling idol of the 4th generation, has made a comeback with their third mini album [the Billage of perception: chapter two].
With solid skills, Billlie announced the prologue of a grand narrative about a mysterious story of a girl named Billlie Love who disappeared on a day when purple rain fell, through their debut album [the Billage of perception: chapter one] last November. Following this, in the [the collective soul and unconscious] series released in December and February, they explained various stories experienced in reality through the mediums of dreams and the unconscious, implementing a narrative through two storytelling methods. All the content presented by Billlie is intricately connected by a single story, recognized as a 'new attempt in the K-POP scene,' receiving much acclaim.
The second mini album ranked high on various global charts such as iTunes, Billboard, and Oricon, receiving much love. The title track 'GingaMingaYo (the strange world)' was selected as the best K-Pop song in 'The Best K-Pop Songs and Albums of 2022' announced by Time magazine in June, standing alongside prominent artists and gaining love as a storytelling idol based on high-quality music and narrative representing Korea.
The third mini album [the Billage of perception: chapter two], which continues from the debut album, is an album that showcases Billlie's pride in their excellent musical capabilities. With each release, Billlie has provided deep inspiration to those enjoying their music and stories through new and diverse artistic attempts. The title track 'RING ma Bell (what a wonderful world)' presents a real band sound that transcends the limits of the Hard Rock genre, encapsulating both story and skill, reaffirming Billlie's capabilities.
In addition to the title track, this album features participation from top domestic and international producers and songwriters such as Mayu Wakisaka, DEEZ, YUNSU, SAAY, Mingtion, Kim Yeon-seo, Anna Timgren, and Le’mon, marking another leap musically. I have been searching for a true acacia perfume which is hard to come by in the states. This perfume smells the closest to acacia which is a nostalgic smell for me. Doesn’t last very long on me though.
