Billlie continues its unique story with the fourth mini album [the Billage of perception: chapter three].
Since their debut album, Billlie has woven a mysterious narrative of 'the day when the violet rain fell, and the Billlie Love that always seemed to be with us disappeared' into two series of reality, dreams, and unconsciousness, expressing various artworks and music genres in each album, and fans have coined the term 'Billiverse' (Billlie + Universe) for the works created by Billlie, establishing a distinctive and unique realm in the K-POP scene.
The mini album released last year ranked high on several global charts, and the title track 'GingaMingaYo (the strange world)' was selected as the 'Best K-POP Song of 2022' by prestigious international media such as TIME, Billboard, NYLON, Teen Vogue, Apple Music, TIDAL, Amazon Music, UK’s NME, and The National in the UAE. Moreover, the title track of the mini album 3, 'RING ma Bell (what a wonderful world)', known for its addictive sound that transcends the Hard Rock genre, was ranked first in DAZED's 'Best K-POP Song of 2022', while the album's track 'B’rave ~ a song for Matilda' was also selected as 'Best B-SIDE K-POP Track of 2022' by the UK music and fashion magazine CLASH, solidifying Billlie's position as a representative complete artist among the mega 4th generation idols.
The title track 'EUNOIA' of the mini album 4 continues the music and story of the complete 'Billiverse' from albums 1 to 4, featuring the production team PixelWave and singer-songwriter YOUHA, along with lyrics from Le’mon, who has collaborated with Billlie since their debut album.
This album, like its predecessors, has all tracks connected by a single perspective, creating a solid narrative that runs from the opening track to the last track. A luxurious lineup of writers including Lee Woo-min "collapsedone", Justin Reinstein, minGtion, team GALACTIKA *, Jo Yoon-kyung, LLANO, and Geumto maximized the overall completeness of the album with music and narratives that only Billlie can express. Additionally, the music video for the title track and the visual story film for the sub-track 'enchanted night ~ 白夜' were enhanced by the artistic direction of director Kwak Doo-ri, and pop art artist Regina Kim restructured the continuity of the story with sensory artwork, once again completing Billlie's unique visual art.
