“What am I? Who am I?”

Billlie's new album is a single album released 7 months after the mini album [the Billage of perception: chapter three] in March. It deals with the story of another space-time that follows the unique storytelling, ‘side-B’, and is a work derived from the series that has been continued through [the Billage of perception] and [the collective soul and unconscious].

Since their debut, Billlie has been exploring unique and experimental music that breaks existing frameworks with each comeback, securing a distinctive position in the K-POP scene by releasing high-quality albums that complete music, video, art, and storytelling in their own color. In particular, the title track of the last mini album, ‘EUNOIA’, reached number one on music shows after 511 days since their debut, and with their successful debut in Japan, they are maintaining a solid position in the domestic and international music market.

With this album that deals with the story of growth within ‘Billlieverse’, Billlie expresses short stories of reflections on the worries and realizations that everyone experiences at least once while growing up, and the changes in their emotions in their own style. The boundaries between reality and unreality are ambiguously mixed and collide, creating a narrative that allows for a more enjoyable experience of Billlie's imagination through the adventures of the same self in different spaces.

The song ‘BYOB (bring your own best friend)’ presented before the first single release is a disco-pop sound in the easy listening genre, completed with an addictive melody and lovely performance. Additionally, this song marks the first introduction of an English track, receiving a warm response from global fans.

The title track ‘DANG! (hocus pocus)’ communicates constantly with the inner self, expressing the awe that arises when the known cracks and the world of ‘me’ expands, reflecting on the differences between how I perceive myself and how I appear to others, completed with Billlie's unique dynamic beats and direction.
