CHUNG HA's 2nd studio album [Bare&Rare Pt.1] is divided into two chapters: Pt.1 (Bare) which talks about inner emotions without hiding, and Pt.2 (Rare) which contains new musical challenges. Following the special single [Killing Me], she participated in writing lyrics and producing all tracks in this regular 2nd album Pt.1. In particular, efforts were made to create music that is meant to be listened to rather than just seen, and it is an album that honestly captures the inner stories that CHUNG HA has always thought about.

The bold direction and rich 21 tracks released in the previous regular 1st album [Querencia] solidified her position as a female solo artist and was selected as one of the 50 Best Albums of 2021 by Billboard. She also became the first to win the Album Award in the Kpop category at the 19th Korean Popular Music Awards and has shown her versatility as a vocalist through various musical activities such as OSTs, featuring, and duets. This album includes 8 tracks that express CHUNG HA's inner story through her vocals, allowing for empathy.

The title track 'Sparkling' is a song with a hyper vibe on a fast BPM of 160, featuring a refreshing sound like carbonation. It expresses a cool and refreshing emotion like the first sip of a cold drink on a hot summer day.
