Always showing various performances and developing a unique musical world, the 4th generation girl group ‘PURPLE KISS’ will release their 6th mini album [BXX] on March 19, 2024, in a different appearance from before.

[BXX] is a form that converts FF from the abbreviation of Best Friends Forever (BFF) to XX, capturing the loyalty and friendship of the six members with XX chromosomes. This album, which encompasses various personalities into one, allows you to fully enjoy the free and hip energy of PURPLE KISS.

The title track ‘BBB’ is a song that captures free vocals and hip sensibilities over a strong bass and minimal trap beat, expressing the ambition of those who have turned colorless due to being forced to be nice, to willingly become villains who confront the world to regain their diverse colors. Rather than dreaming of romance or fantasy, it portrays PURPLE KISS’s confidence based on an active attitude that seeks change while facing reality.

Additionally, using ribbons as props for black leather outfits or wearing unified outfits of white t-shirts & jeans among colorful clothes, they break the prejudices of those who impose uniformity through concept photos that evoke some confusion. The music video maximizes the keywords of the album by capturing the playful villain through unique camera angles and lively CG, conveying a message of freedom and confidence to those oppressed in society through actions that are not crimes but are difficult to understand logically, such as hanging on a basketball hoop or painting each other.

Moreover, the unique vocals and bouncy refreshing sound of PURPLE KISS blend together in ‘Intro : Crush’, while ‘BITTER SWEET’ conveys that love, like dark chocolate, always accompanies joy and sorrow. The member Nago-eun's self-composed song ‘Toy Boy’ falls under the hip-hop R&B genre, and member Chae-in's self-composed song ‘Heart Attack’ centers around synthesizers reminiscent of a racing heartbeat.
