This album aims to showcase my various colors, but also carries the meaning of supporting and respecting everyone's diversity, just as everyone has their own colors in personality, taste, and values.

Mamamoo's Solar has returned with her second mini album after two years. This album [COLOURS] captures the aspiration to showcase Solar's diverse charms through six songs with the keyword 'color (COLOUR)'.

Furthermore, the album title signifies the hope that many 'ours' living in the same era will find their unique colors in individuality, charm, identity, and values, and create a harmonious and colorful world by respecting each other's colors.

Through this album, I deeply reflect on and respect 'diversity', portraying the emotions and values that a more mature artist Solar sees and feels in the world.

The title track 'But I' is a song that combines R&B and Rock genres, depicting the story of not getting tired of those who hurt me and taking revenge in a refreshing way. 'Colors' is a house genre song that reflects the diversity of people in the world, just like various colors. We all have different personalities and appearances. Even if we attract attention for being different from most people, I believe that it's just a difference, not a wrongness. Every person deserves respect, and we all deserve to be loved regardless of how we look. This song is meant to instill confidence in those who feel this way.

It also allowed me to challenge the dance genre of voguing for the first time, making it a very challenging song for me.
At first, I was afraid of the newness, but I was able to overcome it quickly while thinking about the lyrics. I hope we all face new things boldly without fear.

'Empty' is a song I wrote when I sometimes feel sentimental and lonely. I wrote lyrics that accept loneliness as it is. It's a pop ballad that harmonizes well with the lyrics, and I had previously shared it with fans as an unreleased song a few years ago, but it is finally included in this album.
I feel like I receive a lot of comfort while singing 'Empty'. I hope fans listening to this song also receive a lot of comfort and empathy.

I wanted to say words that may not be flashy, but can provide calm comfort to many who are struggling through each day.
