BTOB's Lim Hyunsik is releasing his second solo mini album [The Young Man and the Deep Sea].
Following the first mini album [RENDEZ-VOUS], he returns to fans after about five years with the mini album [The Young Man and the Deep Sea], raising expectations for the stories he will share.

While the previous album honestly sang his unique stories about encounters, connections, relationships, and love using the universe as a metaphor, this album expresses the ‘sea’ as a theme, showcasing his perspective on the ‘sea’ and a deeper musical world.
This album, which began with his ambition to create an album themed around the sea since the release of his first solo song ‘SWIMMING’, was also led by him. Lim Hyunsik filled the album with self-composed songs and participated in the concept and design of the album as well as the planning of the music video, hoping that the meaning of the ‘sea’ he perceives would genuinely resonate with the public.

In one of his comments, he mentioned, ‘As I grew older and lived, I felt that my life and myself are like the sea.’ Imagining what kind of colors, sounds, atmosphere, and temperature ‘Lim Hyunsik's sea’ possesses while listening to the music will bring even deeper emotions.
The stories about the ‘sea’ that Lim Hyunsik unfolds traverse various genres with an alternative sound, not confined to any specific genre. He has often enjoyed reading [The Old Man and the Sea], and the name of this mini album was born as a homage to it. Lim Hyunsik wanted to show the sea (me) of a grown young man, no longer a boy in his 30s, which resembles the old man's firm attitude and wise demeanor towards life in the novel [The Old Man and the Sea]. It would be nice to follow Lim Hyunsik's journey through the album, pondering what the ‘sea’ means to him and what path he has traveled, and whether he is currently sailing smoothly.

The music video for the title track ‘La Mar’ embodies Lim Hyunsik's passion as he participated in its planning. The sea scenes in the music video were all filmed with Lim Hyunsik actually diving into the sea, and he took time during the album preparation process to undergo diving training, resulting in beautiful outcomes. The appearance of the sea that Lim Hyunsik personally experienced is captured in the video. Lim Hyunsik's mini album [The Young Man and the Deep Sea] carries the important message of ‘light and shadow’, where tracks 1 to 3 represent the ‘dark’ aspect, and tracks 4 to the last track 6 represent the ‘light’ aspect. Thus, when returning from track 6 back to track 1, the organic flow begins again, expressing the cycles of encounters and farewells, and the light and dark of life. I like that I can see improvement in my skin. I've been using it for about a month and a half, and I can see subtle effects. I think using it continuously will add more glow! It helps improve the skin barrier and gives an amazing shine. I recommend using it with the Minari duo — it applies even better, haha.

First of all, when you apply it, it gives a glow and doesn't feel dry. Also, it isn't greasy or sticky! I'm using it in my nighttime skincare routine. I use all of ClearDea's products, and they're definitely good — it seems to really help with barrier care, so I'll keep using it.
