Mamamoo Solar has returned with her second mini album after 2 years. This album [COLOURS] aims to showcase Solar's diverse charms through the keyword 'color (COLOUR)' with 6 songs of various genres.

Furthermore, the album name carries the meaning of encouraging countless 'ours' living in the same era to find their unique colors (OURS) in terms of individuality, charm, identity, and values, and to create a harmonious and colorful world by respecting each other's colors.

Through this album, I deeply reflect on and respect 'diversity', portraying the emotions and values that a more mature artist Solar sees and feels in the world.

The title track 'But I' is a song that combines R&B and Rock genres, where I do not get tired of those who hurt me, and I take revenge and shake it off. In addition, through 6 songs of different genres including 'Colors', 'Empty', 'Honey Honey', 'Easy Peasy', and 'Blues', I will showcase Solar's diverse colors.

‘Colors’ is a house genre song that expresses that there are many diverse people in the world just like various colors. We all have different personalities and appearances. Even if we attract attention for being different from most people, I think it's just a difference, not a wrongness. Everyone deserves to be respected, and we should be loved no matter what we look like. This song is meant to instill confidence in those people.

It is also a very challenging song for me as it is my first time trying the dance genre called voguing.
At first, I was afraid of the newness, but I was able to overcome it quickly while thinking about the lyrics. I hope we all do not fear and boldly face new things.

While singing ‘Empty’, I feel like I receive a lot of comfort. I hope fans listening to this song also receive a lot of comfort and empathy.

There is a saying that eating cold porridge is easy, right? I used that saying ironically in the introduction, saying that today was very hard, but it was easy as if it were nothing, making it fun.
I wanted to convey words that, while not flashy, can provide calm comfort to many who endure each day with difficulty yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
