Okdal (옥상달빛), known for their comforting and healing music, has marked their fortieth year with the release of their third full album, [40]. There's a moment in everyone's life where Okdal's music has provided solace. When our youth feels lacking, their musical role of extending a helping hand is undeniable. Okdal is regarded as an icon of comfort and healing. However, within this seemingly fixed statement lies the struggles and weight the artists have experienced.

In past interviews, Okdal has mentioned, "As we continue to write music, we find ourselves with less to say." After gathering all the comfort they could offer, they were at a loss for what message to convey next. After much contemplation, Okdal sharpens their pencils to release their third full album, [40].

The album [40] contains deeply personal and human joys and sorrows of Okdal. Kim Yoon-ju and Park Se-jin, who have been singing together since their twenties, are now forty. The weight of the time accumulated is difficult to define in a single sentence. Over the years, their perspective on the world may have become a bit more lax and somewhat more stoic. Nevertheless, there are still hardships that bring them down, regardless of time. The eleven tracks in the album are a rich, concentrated story of Okdal's 'maturity' and 'growth'.

The 'maturity' and 'growth' encapsulated in [40] are closer to the concept of 'flow' than to the idea of becoming larger or more developed. What stories does Okdal still hold onto, or have changed, as these significant years have passed? Perhaps there's a peculiar certainty that these self-reflective tracks will serve as the 'comfort typical of Okdal' to people.

It helps improve the skin barrier and gives an amazing shine. I recommend using it with the Minari duo — it applies even better, haha.

First of all, when you apply it, it gives a glow and doesn't feel dry. Also, it isn't greasy or sticky! I'm using it in my nighttime skincare routine. I use all of ClearDea's products, and they're definitely good — it seems to really help with barrier care, so I'll keep using it.
