The album 2024 Decibel OST features the title track “'Sailing' NEW LOVE SAILING(JamTune),” which is a reimagining of Cha Eun-woo's “Sailing,” a credit insertion song from the movie ‘Decibel.’ This album includes legendary remakes of songs such as “TIMELESS,” “If You're Going to Do This,” and “Lonely,” which were included in the first Decibel OST and provided deep emotions and impressions.

Track 1. 'Sailing' NEW LOVE SAILING(JamTune) (Cha Eun-woo(ASTRO))
Cha Eun-woo gained much attention and love for his serious and outstanding performance as a naval submarine sound detection non-commissioned officer in the urban terror action film ‘Decibel,’ directed by Hwang In-ho, released in 2022. He demonstrated calmness and decisiveness even in dramatic situations, leaving a strong impression on the audience with his character's tension, deep emotional lines, and compelling acting. He also participated as a vocalist for the OST “Sailing,” delivering a powerful emotional experience. In 2024, Cha Eun-woo is expected to receive much love again as he presents a new version of “Sailing,” titled “'Sailing' NEW LOVE SAILING (JamTune),” with a fresh emotional touch.

The original version of “Sailing” offered a fresh and clear watercolor-like feeling with bright lead guitar playing and flowing drum rhythms, while the band-style version “'Sailing' NEW LOVE SAILING(JamTune)” is reborn with a faster tempo, filled with refreshing and free energy. From the start of the song, Cha Eun-woo's soft and sweet voice whispers along with the piano, stirring the heart. The following strings and guitar melodies elevate the delicate emotional line. In the latter half, the wild improvisation of the electric guitar passionately decorates the finale, giving the feeling of being drawn into a movie. From the gradually approaching gentle melody to the intense development, it vividly portrays a spectrum of various emotions, captivating the listener's heart.

Track 2. Survive (about his chronicle)
“Survive,” performed by singer-songwriter about his chronicle, who participated in writing, composing, and arranging, showcases dramatic effects with a combination of orchestra expressing deep colors and various sound effects, giving a feeling of despair. The use of organ and brass instruments, often found in opera and musical genres, enhances the fantastical atmosphere.

Track 3. Lonely (Feat. Nam Do-hyun) (Rolling Quartz)
“Lonely” is a song created by composers Kim Do-hoon (RBW) and Lee Sang-ho, who have produced numerous hit songs in the Korean popular music scene, originally sung by the four-member male rock band CNBLUE, which continues to be loved to this day. The newly arranged remake “Lonely (Feat. Nam Do-hyun)” showcases the solid musical skills and vibrant vocals of the five-member female hard rock band Rolling Quartz. The explosive harmony of electric guitar, bass, and drums is fantastic. Above all, Nam Do-hyun from the idol show Produce 101 takes on the rap, adding his unique groove, enhancing the completeness of the song by bridging rap and rock (metal) musical flows.

Track 4. Thinking of the Autumn Sky (Jin Sun-mi Hee Ah LOVE) (FISTBUMP)
FISTBUMP is a young four-member rock band that has honed their skills through active communication with fans globally, including a solo performance in Osaka, Japan, and a JEFF concert. Their golden autumn story “Thinking of the Autumn Sky (Jin Sun-mi Hee Ah LOVE)” features a medium-tempo lyrical melody and lyrics that blend with lead vocalist Jang-bin's rock voice, enhancing the autumn mood's emotions.

Track 5. TIMELESS (Kyung Seo-yeji, Cha Ga-eul)
The song “TIMELESS,” which has become a legend in the music industry, was originally performed by the best ballad group SG Wannabe in the mid to late 2000s. This first remake version features the charming rich tones of the talented ballad duo Kyung Seo-yeji and the clear and pure voice of Cha Ga-eul, delivering the excitement of autumn. The musical flow of the “TIMELESS” remake version, mixed with R&B's unique beats and ballad genre, stands out with a restrained simplicity and a sense of depth. “If You're Going to Do This” is a medium-tempo ballad co-created by composer and producer Park Geun-tae, who has produced numerous masterpieces across various genres of Korean popular music, and lyricist Kang Eun-kyung. This hit song was sung by artist Ivy and stayed long on the music charts. The newly reimagined remake “If You're Going to Do This” captures the deepened emotions of Jeon Geon-ho, touching the hearts of listeners. Jeon Geon-ho sings with a compelling tone, confessing his lingering feelings for an unforgettable past love. Especially in the latter half, his increasingly poignant voice and the raw lyrics expressing the pain of separation enhance the song's immersion.

Track 7. Girl (I promise) (Randy)
“Girl (I promise)” is a legendary song of Korean rock, created by guitarist, lyricist, and composer Kim Tae-won of the band Resurrection, originally sung by the first-generation three-member idol boy group Speed, which received much love. 
This legendary song has been reinterpreted with Randy's operatic baritone voice, where his clear and soft guitar melodies blend with gentle piano notes, wrapping the heart warmly and comfortably. Although your heart has turned away from me, it adds faith to the promise of cherishing the precious memories with you forever. It makes one reflect on the meaning of eternal love while reminiscing about the departed girl. The remake “Girl (I promise)” will leave a lasting emotional impact like an epilogue.
