▶ Global 4th generation idol group ‘MCND’ that the world is paying attention to

MCND debuted on February 27, 2020, receiving great acclaim from both domestic and international media for their powerful performances and live shows. In particular, their debut song ‘ICE AGE’ was selected as one of the ‘40 Best K-pop Songs of 2020’ by the American independent magazine ‘Paper Magazine’, describing the strong addictiveness of ‘ICE AGE’ as 'auditory hailstorm'.

Following this, MCND entered the US Billboard charts with the title track of their 2nd MINI ALBUM ‘Crush’. They placed all tracks on the Amazon chart in the US. They have been recognized for their potential in the Americas, Japan, and Indonesia, showing remarkable growth and establishing themselves as a 4th generation global idol.

MCND's worldview begins with the story of five boys who have long admired Earth from the planet Kepler1649c, which is most similar to Earth, and come to the Earth they have dreamed of to unfold their long-awaited stage.

Through the series [ ICE AGE ], [ SCHOOL AGE ], [ EARTH AGE ], [ MCND AGE ], MCND presents the story of the process of arriving at the "blue planet" Earth after practicing hard for a long time, and in this [SECRET MISSION] series, they start a new mission to meet the audience and fans they have long dreamed of, making efforts to breathe more closely and intimately with fans.

The main message of this album, which states that they must carry out missions to meet fans, is actually connected to the reality that MCND is facing.

Since their debut, due to COVID-19, MCND has not been able to meet and breathe in the same space as fans, and they are conveying a direct message by connecting their reality with the story of the album through MCND's worldview.

In a situation where they cannot meet directly, they held the first "video call signing event" to meet fans and showcased a stage with fans online, but MCND longs for the feeling of being one with music in the same space.

As the team name "Music Creates New Dream" suggests, they hope to create a new dream with "GEM" through music and look forward to completing new missions to sing and dance together with fans in one space.

Starting with the title track Movin'(To You…) and ending with REASON, the main message of this album is "We will meet"

Through Movin'(To You…), MCND conveys the message of wanting to get closer to 'you (GEM)', and in the last track REASON, which was the trailer song that opened the beginning of this album series, they express the strong message that the reason we sing and dance is you (GEM), waiting for the day to meet directly.

▶ The trailer that opens MCND's new series [ REASON ]

The song 'REASON', which announces the start of the third mini-album, showcases individual cool performances through the trailer and is MCND's first English song.

This song was prepared to be revealed for the first time in a space where they could breathe directly with fans, as it is a song they have practiced for a long time while preparing for the next album after finishing the activities of the last [ MCND AGE ] album, with the hope that an opportunity to meet fans directly would come soon.

However, when faced with the wall of reality and the situation where performances and stages had to continue online again, it was expressed in video form and presented as a trailer for the new album series.
This song is also the first English song that MCND announced to convey a message to fans around the world, singing about the longing to meet GEM and the reason we are preparing for the stage is because of the love from our fans.

[ THE EARTH: SECRET MISSION Chapter.1 ] creates a different atmosphere with ‘glow (UR)’ and luminescent (REASON)’ versions.

The ‘glow (UR)’ version highlights MCND's quirky and lively charm as they find and complete hidden missions to meet fans. The ‘luminescent (REASON)’ version captures the upgraded MCND enjoying music and performances together with fans after completing hidden missions.

Additionally, this album includes mission cards that can be decorated, figure versions, and selfie photo versions of photo cards. Various events will continue to facilitate interactive communication with fans purchasing the album.

▶ MUSIC VIDEO : The exquisite performance of the ‘All Main Dancer’ group with a harmony of solo and group dances

The music video for Movin’(To You…) depicts MCND taking the stage to meet the fans of the blue planet by finding hidden microphones around the Earth.

It adds visual fun with MCND struggling to find microphones in various backgrounds, such as a laser surveillance space filled with speakers and boomboxes and a Moroccan-style market alley.

Moreover, the intricate performance, consisting of unique solo dances and synchronized group dances that capture the charm of all main dancers MCND, enhances the completeness of the music video with a stage set resembling a giant microphone.

2. Cat Waltz
Cat Waltz is a hip-hop genre medium dance song created by sampling the familiar 'cat dance', delivering lyrics that convey the message of enjoying together in a lively and cheerful manner, like fingers playing on a keyboard performing the cat dance. In particular, after the pre-debut song ‘TOP GANG’, rappers Castle J, BIC, and WIN participated in the lyrics, raising expectations even higher.
