Billlie continues its unique story with the fourth mini album [the Billage of perception: chapter three].
Since their debut album, Billlie has woven a mysterious tale of 'the day when the violet rain fell, and the Billlie Love that always seemed to be with us disappeared' into two series of reality, dreams, and the unconscious, expressing various artistic works and music genres with each album, and fans have coined the term 'Billiverse' (Billlie + Universe) for the works created by Billlie, establishing a distinctive and unique domain in the K-POP scene.
Last year's mini album ranked high on multiple global charts, and the title track 'GingaMingaYo (the strange world)' was selected as the 'Best K-POP Song of 2022' by major international media outlets such as TIME, Billboard, NYLON, Teen Vogue, Apple Music, TIDAL, Amazon Music, NME in the UK, and The National in the UAE. Additionally, the title track of the mini album 3, 'RING ma Bell (what a wonderful world)', which transcends boundaries with its addictive sound in the Hard Rock genre, was ranked as the 'Best K-POP Song of 2022' by the renowned UK magazine DAZED, while the album's track 'B'rave ~ a song for Matilda' was also selected as the 'Best B-SIDE K-POP Track of 2022' by the UK music and fashion magazine CLASH, solidifying Billlie's position as a representative complete artist among mega 4th generation idols, recognized for their unique musicality worldwide.
The title track of the mini album 4, 'EUNOIA', continues the complete musical and narrative journey of 'Billiverse' from the first to the fourth album, combining the music of the producing team PixelWave, who collaborated with Billlie for the first time in this album, and the lyrics of songwriter Le’mon, who has been connected since the debut album.
This album, like its predecessors, features a solid narrative that connects all tracks from the opening to the final track, with a luxurious lineup of writers including Lee Woo-min "collapsedone", Justin Reinstein, minGtion, team GALACTIKA *, Jo Yoon-kyung, LLANO, and Geumto maximizing the overall completeness of the album with music and narratives that only Billlie can express. Additionally, the music video for the title track and the visual story film for the sub-track 'enchanted night ~ 白夜' were enhanced with the artistic direction of director Kwak Doo-ri, and pop artist Regina Kim restructured the continuity of the story with sensory artwork, once again completing Billlie's unique visual art.
