“What am I? Who am I?”

Billlie's new album is a single album released 7 months after the mini album [the Billage of perception: chapter three] in March, dealing with the story of another time and space that follows the unique storytelling of ‘side-B’, and is a work derived from the series that has been continued through [the Billage of perception] and [the collective soul and unconscious].

Since their debut, Billlie has explored original and experimental music that breaks the existing framework with each comeback, securing a unique and differentiated position in the K-POP scene by presenting high-quality albums completed with their own color of music, video, art, and story. In particular, the title track ‘EUNOIA’ from their last mini album topped music shows 511 days after their debut, and following that, they have maintained a solid position in the domestic and international music market with a successful debut in Japan.

With this album that deals with the story of growth within ‘Billlieverse’, Billlie expresses short stories of reflections on their emotions, dilemmas, and realizations that everyone experiences at least once in their growth journey in their own style. The space between reality and unreality is ambiguously mixed and collides, creating a narrative that allows listeners to enjoy Billlie's imagination through sensory language.

The song ‘BYOB (bring your own best friend)’ showcased before the first single release is a disco-pop sound in the easy listening genre, combining an addictive melody with a lovely performance to enhance its completeness. Additionally, this song marks the first introduction of an English track, receiving a warm response from global fans.

The title track ‘DANG! (hocus pocus)’ is an exclamation that arises when communicating with the inner self, realizing that what was known has cracks, and when ‘I’ expands my world. It reflects on the differences between how I perceive myself and how others see me, completed with Billlie's unique dynamic beats and production.

Billlie has strengthened their connection with global fans by adding English tracks to their first single album, condensing the various narratives they have presented so far into this work.
