Catch The Young's second mini album [Catch The Young : Fragments of Odyssey] has been released. This album, a sequel to the debut album [Catch The Young : Fragments of Youth], allows you to meet another chapter of the youth story told through Catch The Young's music from the previous album.

Since their debut, Catch The Young has presented continuous performances and diverse content. In particular, last December, just a month after their debut, they held a Christmas solo concert [Santa The Young], making winter even more meaningful for fans, and in January, they proved their global capabilities as a band by breathing with Japanese fans through performances in Japan. In addition, they have consistently communicated with fans through various stages, continuing their unique and attractive live performances.

Through the music they create, Catch The Young tells the various emotions that can be encountered in the long journey of life through this mini 2 album [Catch The Young : Fragments of Odyssey]. Just like a ship sailing across the vast sea, our lives are unpredictable. While we hope for only predictable and enjoyable things, we inevitably encounter unwanted events like rain, wind, and storms. In that, the excitement, fear, joy, sadness, and more emotions are expressed in Catch The Young's unique way, creating an album that captures them all. Through this album, we will share every moment discovered in the journey of self, and deepen our understanding of the adventure called life.

This album consists of all self-composed songs by the members, highlighting Catch The Young's musicality and authenticity. The title track ‘Voyager’ musically expresses the message of Catch The Young that even if everyone lives in different forms, we can beautifully harmonize and live together. The first track ‘Sentimental Journey’ expresses the content of moving forward with the dreams of childhood in a lively band sound. The third track ‘The Legend’ is a powerful Post-Rock genre song, with impressive lyrics inspired by the professional gamer Faker. The fourth track ‘Always, Forever’ is a song that honestly expresses the feelings of love and affection, uniquely delivering the song's message through its bouncy piano sound. The fifth track ‘The moment everything you've imagined comes true (About Us)’ showcases the advantages of a multi-vocal band, expressing the overwhelming sound of reuniting with each member's memories, and the sixth track ‘Be my light (1101)’ expresses gratitude to the fans who always accompany Catch The Young with a warm tone of vocals and various guitar sounds, as the title suggests. The last track ‘Stay By My Side’ is an attractive song with rich sound contrasting gentle piano melodies and strong drum beats, conveying the message that if we trust and rely on each other, we can overcome anything even in difficult times.

This song starts the journey of the album, with the lively guitar sound of Gi-hun and the rhythmic drums of Jung-mo, expressing the positive energy unique to Catch The Young as much as the exciting sound of the word ‘Journey’. If the first track of the first album [Catch The Young : Fragments of Youth] contained the current story about the path I want to take, “Sentimental Journey” contains the story of Catch The Young's past and future, recalling the pure dreams of childhood and continuing to move forward.

02 Voyager

Lyrics : San-i, Gi-hun, AIVAN, KRAX / Composition : San-i, Gi-hun, Jung-mo

The title track of this album, “Voyager,” is an Alternative Pop-Rock genre song that contains an attractive track of drums leading the composition with instruments that stimulate lyrical emotions and various changes. When you surrender to the rhythm of this song, you can discover yourself floating like a boat on the waves. It expresses the will to navigate silently through the distance of hearts between loved ones, aiming to reach the destination where each other's true feelings eventually communicate. Especially in the main theme, the exquisite harmony of Gi-hun's guitar riff and San-i's bass riff, which play different parts, musically expresses Catch The Young's message that even if everyone lives in different forms, we can beautifully harmonize and live together.

03 The Legend

Lyrics : San-i, AIVAN / Composition : San-i, Gi-hun, Jung-mo

This song, inspired by the professional gamer Faker, whom member San-i admires, contains a tribute to the legend(The Legend). With a sense of speed and intense guitar and bass riffs, it maximally constructs a rocking sound that expresses a bold and confident self, shouting ‘Look at how I overcame these hardships and adversities’. By emphasizing the elements of Rock in Catch The Young's unique genre of ‘Youth Pop-Rock’, it expresses an expanded musical world of Catch The Young.
