a) Do not use if you are among the following: If you have experienced swelling from a bleaching agent containing 'persulfate' that is mixed with this product, or if you have felt unwell (nausea, vomiting, etc.) during or immediately after use (this is indicated only for hair dyes mixed with persulfate).
(1) If you have previously experienced swelling from a bleaching agent containing 'persulfate' mixed with this product, or if you have felt unwell (nausea, vomiting, etc.) during or immediately after use.
(2) If you have previously had skin reactions (swelling, inflammation, etc.) when using hair dye, or if you experienced rashes, redness, or itching during or immediately after dyeing.
(3) If you have experienced abnormal reactions from a skin test (patch test).
(4) If you have sores, wounds, or skin diseases on the scalp, face, or neck.
(5) If you are menstruating, pregnant, or possibly pregnant.
(6) If you are recovering from childbirth, illness, or have any other physical abnormalities.
(7) If you have special constitution, kidney disease, or blood disorders.
(8) If you have persistent symptoms such as mild fever, fatigue, palpitations, or shortness of breath, or frequent bleeding such as nosebleeds, or difficulty stopping other bleeding.
(9) Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have previously shown hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to propylene glycol, which is contained as an additive in this product (this is indicated only for formulations containing propylene glycol).
b) Precautions Before Using Hair Dye
(1) Conduct a patch test 48 hours before dyeing according to the following steps. The patch test is to check if you have a hypersensitivity to the dye. Even if you have dyed without any issues in the past, allergies or other side effects may occur due to changes in constitution, so always conduct this test. (The steps of the patch test can be illustrated for clarity, and if necessary, can be attached as a "separate note" in the usage precautions.)
① First, wash the inner arm or the skin behind the ear thoroughly with soapy water and lightly wipe it with a cotton pad.
② Next, take a small amount of this product, mix it according to the prescribed method, and prepare the test solution.
③ Apply the test solution to the previously cleaned area in a coin-sized amount and allow it to dry naturally, leaving it for 48 hours. (Be sure to keep track of the time.)
④ Observe the test area at 30 minutes and 48 hours after applying the test solution. If there are any skin abnormalities such as rashes, redness, itching, blisters, or irritation at the application site, do not touch it with your hands, wash it off immediately, and do not dye your hair. If you feel any of the above skin abnormalities during the test, even before 48 hours, stop the test immediately, wash off the test solution, and do not dye your hair.
⑤ If no abnormalities occur within 48 hours, proceed with dyeing.
(2) Do not use on eyebrows or eyelashes as it may be dangerous. There is a risk of the dye getting into the eyes. Do not dye any area other than the hair.
(3) Do not dye immediately after shaving.
(4) Avoid perming or waving (permanent wave) for one week before and after dyeing.
c) Precautions During Dyeing
(1) Ensure that the dye does not get into the eyes during application or while washing the hair. If it gets into the eyes, it can cause severe pain or, in some cases, damage to the eyes (corneal inflammation). If it does get into the eyes, do not rub them and rinse thoroughly with water or lukewarm water for more than 15 minutes, and seek immediate medical attention from an ophthalmologist. Do not use any eye drops or similar products on your own.
(2) Do not take a bath or wet your hair before dyeing. There is a risk of the dye getting into the eyes through sweat or water droplets.
(3) If you experience skin abnormalities such as rashes, redness, swelling, itching, or strong irritation, or if you feel unwell (nausea, vomiting, etc.) during dyeing, stop dyeing immediately and wash off the dye thoroughly. Leaving it on may worsen the symptoms.
(4) If the dye gets on the skin, wash it off immediately with water. Wear gloves to protect your fingers or nails while dyeing.
(5) Dye in a well-ventilated area.
d) Precautions After Dyeing
(1) If you experience skin abnormalities such as rashes, redness, itching, or blisters on the head, face, or neck, do not scratch or rub the area and seek immediate medical attention from a dermatologist. Avoid using any medications on your own.
(2) If you feel unwell during or after dyeing, consult a doctor.
e) Precautions for Storage and Handling
(1) Do not store the mixed dye in a sealed container. There is a risk of the container breaking due to gas pressure from the mixed solution, which is dangerous. Additionally, the mixed dye may splash up and contaminate the surroundings, making it difficult to clean. Any leftover mixed solution is ineffective, so it must be disposed of immediately.
(2) When disposing of the container, be sure to open the lid before discarding.
(3) Store any unused solution away from direct sunlight and avoid contact with air in a cool place.
