DAY6 unit Even of Day will release 'The Book of Us : Gluon - Nothing can tear us apart' on August 31.

DAY6, who has colored listeners' daily lives with songs about every moment, has formed their first unit after 5 years of debut.

This unit, consisting of Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon, will officially debut with a new song on the last day of August 31, 2020.

DAY6 (Even of Day) is a group name personally created by JYP Entertainment's Park Jin-young.

Park Jin-young drew inspiration from the archaic English word 'even' meaning 'night', incorporating the meaning that 'day' comes after 'even' into the unit name.

With a message that they will finally face a bright day after crossing a deep and dark night, they express their ambition to sing heartfelt music.

'The Book of Us : Gluon - Nothing can tear us apart' is an album created by borrowing the term 'Gluon' from physics. Starting from the meaning of 'Gluon' as a particle that mediates strong interactions, it expresses an irresistible strong attraction through music.

Additionally, the subtitle 'Nothing can tear us apart' conveys the heartfelt truth that "we are united with the strongest force."

The title track 'Until the Waves End' reveals a desire to stay together until the waves of joy and sorrow in life end while riding the boat of life on the sea of the world.

"Endure the approaching rough waves, don’t let go of my hand even in the darkness, stay by my side until the storm passes, because it will feel like a dream when the morning comes in the calm." The lyrics convey a firm resolution to face the rough winds together.

Unlike previous DAY6 albums, DAY6 (Even of Day) has included 'Intro', 'Interlude', and 'Outro' tracks in their new release, seeking transformation.
