The time has come when the seasons turn cold again. It has already been 6 years since we met with Highlight and Light. And now we greet you with another album.
It's strange to think about. Beyond the simple proposition of fan and singer, we have become the most reliable allies sharing camaraderie, and sometimes we feel warm and excited, sharing each other's worries as best friends, experiencing all the emotions of the world together. It's strange how we, who may have never seen each other’s faces, need each other and gain strength from one another.
You, who gain strength from us. You, who smile while listening to our songs. You, who learn something by watching us. You, who say that our very existence is a gift, even though we may have never seen each other in person. You, who say we are the reason for living. You, who have shared countless experiences with us, crying and laughing together day by day. It seems like we haven't given much in return, yet you keep finding happiness in us. Despite all these things not being taken for granted, you make us feel like they are.
In this rapidly changing world, we may lose our way more often than now. Sometimes, it may be confusing to exist in a world where common sense is different from what we knew. Still, we will gain the courage to do anything once again through this enduring connection. And we will continue to strive to be people we are not ashamed of. We want to become better people, knowing that you, who give us strength, are ultimately good people.
As night falls, midnight comes, and then dawn arrives, just as morning follows, it is so natural that after the time of darkness, light comes before us. We hope that it continues to be a day where we sing naturally and you listen to our songs without hesitation. We hope to become the kind of people who can appreciate this time, where we can stand before you as we are, as if it were nothing special.
