Starting work in 2014 and confirming its potential with the premiere in September 2017, the musical KPOP subsequently cast Luna from f(x) as the lead character MwE. Additionally, after casting Min from Miss A, Kevin from U-KISS, and Bohyung from Spica, the musical KPOP made its debut on November 27, 2022, at the Circle In The Square Theatre on Broadway in New York, leaving a new milestone in K-pop and musical history.

The numbers of the musical KPOP revolve around the girl group RTMIS, the boy group F8, and the solo artist MwE, following the long journey of K-pop composer Helen Park.
