▶ The global 4th generation idol group ‘MCND’ that the world is watching

MCND debuted on February 27, 2020, receiving rave reviews from both domestic and international media for their powerful performances and live shows. In particular, their debut song ‘ICE AGE’ was selected as one of the ‘40 Best K-pop Songs of 2020’ by the American independent magazine ‘Paper Magazine’, describing the strong addictiveness of ‘ICE AGE’ as an 'auditory hailstorm'.

Following this, MCND entered the U.S. Billboard charts with the title track of their 2nd MINI ALBUM ‘Crush’. They placed all tracks on the U.S. Amazon charts. They have been recognized for their potential in the Americas, Japan, and Indonesia, showing remarkable growth and establishing themselves as a 4th generation global idol.

MCND's worldview begins with the story of five boys who have longed for Earth from the planet Kepler1649c, which is most similar to Earth, and finally come to Earth to unfold the stages they have dreamed of.

Through the series of [ ICE AGE ], [ SCHOOL AGE ], [ EARTH AGE ], [ MCND AGE ], MCND presents the story of their journey to the "blue planet" Earth, which they have longed for while practicing hard. In this [SECRET MISSION] series, they begin a new mission to meet the audience and fans they have dreamed of, striving to connect more closely and intimately with their fans.

The main message of this album, which states that they must perform a mission to meet the fans, is connected to the reality that MCND is facing.

Since their debut, due to COVID-19, MCND has not been able to meet and breathe in the same space as their fans. They are conveying a direct message by connecting their reality with the story of MCND's worldview through this album.

In a situation where they cannot meet directly, they held the first-ever "video call signing event" to create an opportunity to meet fans and showcased performances online, but MCND longs for the feeling of becoming one through music in the same space.

As their team name "Music Creates New Dream" suggests, they hope to create a new dream with "GEM" through music and are looking forward to completing their new mission to sing and dance with fans in one space.

Starting with the title track Movin'(To You…) and ending with REASON, the main message of this album is "We will meet"

Through Movin'(To You…), MCND conveys the message of getting closer to 'you (GEM)', and the last track REASON, which was the trailer song that opened the first start of this album series, also contains a strong message that the reason we sing and dance is you (GEM), waiting for the day we can meet directly.

Although it is a message filled with unfortunate reality and longing, MCND is unfolding the story brightly and cheerfully in their own style in this album. The song 'REASON', which announces the beginning of the third mini-album, showcases individual cool performances through the trailer and is MCND's first English song.

This song was prepared to be unveiled for the first time in a space where they could directly breathe with fans, as they had practiced it for a long time while preparing for the next album after completing the activities for the [ MCND AGE ] album, with the hope that the opportunity to meet fans directly would soon come.

However, when they hit the wall of reality and the situation became one where performances and stages had to continue online again, they expressed this in a video and presented it as a trailer for the new album series.
This song is also the first English song released by MCND to convey a message to fans around the world, singing about the longing to meet with GEM and that the reason we are preparing for this stage is because of the fans who love us.

The ‘glow (UR)’ version highlights MCND's quirky and lively charm as they find and complete hidden missions to meet fans. The ‘luminous (REASON)’ version captures the upgraded MCND enjoying music and performances with fans after completing the hidden missions.

Additionally, this album includes mission cards that can be decorated directly, figure version and selfie photo version photo cards, etc. Various events will continue to facilitate two-way communication with fans purchasing the album.

▶ MUSIC VIDEO : The intricate performance of the ‘All Main Dancer’ group, harmonizing solo and group dances

The music video for Movin’(To You…) depicts MCND stepping onto the stage to meet the fans of the blue planet by searching for hidden microphones around the Earth.

With various backgrounds such as a laser surveillance space filled with speakers and boom boxes and a Moroccan-style market alley, the visual fun is enhanced by MCND's struggles to find the microphones.

Moreover, the intricate performance consisting of unique solo dances and synchronized group dances capturing the charm of MCND as all main dancers enhances the quality of the music video with a stage set shaped like a giant microphone.

2. Cat Waltz
Cat Waltz is a hip-hop genre medium dance song created by sampling the familiar 'Cat Waltz', delivering a lively and fun message to enjoy together like the fingers playing on the keyboard of the cat dance.
