Since debuting on February 27, 2020, MCND has received rave reviews from both domestic and international media for their powerful performances and live shows. In particular, their debut song ‘ICE AGE’ was selected as one of the '40 Best K-pop Songs of 2020' by the American independent magazine 'Paper Magazine', describing the strong addictiveness of 'ICE AGE' as 'auditory hailstorm'.

Following this, MCND entered the US Billboard charts with the title track of their 2nd MINI ALBUM ‘Crush’. They placed all tracks on the US Amazon charts. They have shown remarkable growth, being highly regarded in the North American, Japanese, and Indonesian markets, establishing themselves as a 4th generation global idol.

MCND's worldview begins with the story of five boys who have long prepared for the stage while longing for Earth from the planet Kepler1649c, which is most similar to Earth, and finally arriving at the Earth they have dreamed of, unfolding the stage they have longed for.

Through the series of [ ICE AGE ], [ SCHOOL AGE ], [ EARTH AGE ], [ MCND AGE ], MCND has presented the story of their journey to the "blue planet" Earth, which they have dreamed of while practicing hard for a long time. In this [SECRET MISSION] series, they begin to carry out new missions to meet the audience and fans they have long dreamed of, making efforts to interact more closely and intimately with their fans.

The main message of this album, which states that they must perform missions to meet their fans, is connected to the reality that MCND is facing.

Since their debut, due to COVID-19, MCND has not been able to meet and interact with fans in the same space. They are conveying a direct message by connecting their reality with the album's story through MCND's worldview.

In a situation where they cannot meet directly, they held the first "video call signing event" to meet fans and presented a stage with fans through online performances, but MCND longs for the feeling of becoming one through music in the same space.

As their team name "Music Creates New Dream" suggests, they hope to create new dreams with "GEM" through music and are looking forward to a stage where they can sing and dance with fans in the same space by completing new missions.
