After showcasing limitless possibilities with their 10th mini-album [NO LIMIT] released in November 2021, MONSTA X sings about 'love' in their new mini-album [SHAPE of LOVE]. The album captures various forms of love, from love for oneself, love for MONSTA X and their music, to love for their fans, showing MONSTA X's matured insights while also capturing their clearer and evolved color.

The title track 'LOVE' is produced by MONSTA X member Jooheon and conveys the meaning of love that MONSTA X delivers. Starting with Hyungwon's deadly narration, "What do you think love is," 'LOVE' features a catchy R&B guitar sound with an old-school feel and a rugged yet groovy hip-hop bass, interpreted in a modern way, exuding MONSTA X's unique intense color and energy.

In particular, Jooheon has once again taken on the role of producer for the title track in this album, following the 9th and 10th mini-albums, further deepening MONSTA X's musical color. The lyrics express the feeling of love without hiding it, like a pure child, depicting a love that wants to give everything. MONSTA X returns to the emotions of their youth, building love for their fans, adding the meaning that we have always loved each other in that place. If they expressed their love for MONSTA X's music through their unique intense sound, they successfully captured their love for fans through the lyrics, depicting various forms of love.

The music video also contains MONSTA X's narrative of building love for their fans and their music. Borrowing the concept of an awards ceremony, it symbolically expresses the steps MONSTA X has taken, and the splendid choreography, each member's visuals, and objects expressing love create an immersive experience that is hard to take your eyes off.

Not only Jooheon, but also Hyungwon and I.M participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of most of the included songs, showcasing MONSTA X's outstanding musical capabilities.
