In July 2021, JYP Entertainment released a sensory yet mysterious video, hinting at a new movement. This signals the launch of JYP Entertainment's new girl group in 2022, continuing the successful filmography of girl groups like Wonder Girls, Miss A, Twice, and ITZY, marking the birth of a new girl group after three years since ITZY.

JYP's new faces have solid expectations from the start. For the first time since the company's establishment, Director Lee Ji-young was appointed as a female inside director, and a new Artist Division 4 was established specifically for the '2022 JYP Girl Group'. This division is based on the know-how of casting and training various key figures that embody JYP's uniqueness, including Sunmi from Wonder Girls, Jinwoon from 2AM, Nickhun from 2PM, Jeongyeon, Sana, Jihyo, and Tzuyu from Twice, Young K from DAY6, Mark, Jackson, and Yugyeom from GOT7, and Hyunjin and Felix from Stray Kids, presenting a different paradigm with gradual development.

With the slogan "GRAB YOUR FUTURE!", the 'Blind Package' album will be sold for only ten days from July 16 to 25 and is a physical limited edition of the group's debut single, available only during the pre-sale period, and production and purchase will not be possible after the pre-sale period ends. In a situation where nothing has been revealed about the group name, member composition, or concept, this unknown promotion embodies JYP Entertainment's ambition and confidence, as well as its determination to open a new chapter in K-pop.

The artist name 'JYPn', which will seize the future, will undergo changes later. The emergence of 'n', which holds various possibilities such as next, now, new, and unknown, is expected to bring waves beyond expectations.

The 'Blind Package' is scheduled to be shipped at the time of the group's debut in February 2022 and consists of a limited edition CD, photobook, photocard, poster, premium membership card, and random polaroid.
