ONF will release the title track ‘Summer Popping’ from the summer popup album SUMMER POPUP ALBUM on August 9. ONF returns with a special summer popup album that adds a spoonful of emotion to the refreshing energy of carbonated drinks this summer.
 
After breaking their own record with their first full album [ONF: MY NAME] and repackage album [CITY OF ONF], ONF, known for their unique identity and the phrase ‘hit song collection’, is back with a summer album that will take care of our summer. In their city where they shouted ‘youth and freedom’, ONF delivers a message that seems to pour a brilliant summer on us, saying ‘Even if the Ice Age returns, we will always be together’ with their unique perspective.
 
This summer popup album is filled with various genres of songs that express different summer stories, showcasing the six distinct voices and colors of ONF. ‘Summer Popping’, reinterpreted in K-pop as a Funky Disco genre, is a dance song with the theme of ‘you and me immersed in summer’. The refreshing voices of the members like a carbonated drink in midsummer blend with the Flute in the drop part to deliver a refreshing summer. The change in atmosphere when the intro melody sung over a simple piano accompaniment is repeated in the latter part is a key point that leads the narrative of this song.

“Summer Shape”, written on the theme that just as everyone has different shapes in their hearts, the summers we experience are diverse, was made with an effort to capture each member's voice clearly without a chorus. To create a different color from a typical ballad, Spring Reverb was used on the vocals, and the basic instrumental arrangement was composed as a jazz trio. The participation of pianist Jun_P further enhanced the completeness of the song.
