Singer-songwriter O.WHEN has released his 4th EP album ‘Mood Night’.

Since the release of his first EP ‘When I Begin’ in 2016, O.WHEN has been showcasing a unique tone, distinctive melodies, and emotional music. He has consistently released his second EP ‘When It Loves’, his first full album ‘Room O’, and last June’s third EP ‘From the Day We Loved to the Day We Parted’. Additionally, he has frequently released singles including ‘Call Me Now’, ‘Picture’, and recently ‘I Am Your Calmness’, continuing his relentless creative activity. With the album release, the title track is not only charting on music sites but also gradually climbing higher, showing his growth, and representative songs like ‘Today’, ‘Because It’s the First Time’, ‘Picnic’, ‘Picture’, ‘Call Me Now’, and ‘Fall in Love’ have received much love to this day.

The title of this album is ‘Mood Night’, filled with lyrics that capture the atmosphere of the night, providing music that is pleasant to listen to from dusk until late at night and early dawn.

The first track ‘Place to Rest’ is a song meant for everyone who needs and longs for a true place to rest, as home has become the only refuge after COVID-19, and we now communicate online. The luxurious arrangement and O.WHEN’s outstanding vocals lead the song, leaving a deep resonance at the end.

The second track and title song ‘Just Like That’ expresses the hope that we will always love just as we do now, even as time passes. The overall band sound is enriched by the grandeur of strings added from the second verse, creating a full-bodied sound that complements the husky vocals. O.WHEN’s deep voice and melody linger in the ears.

The third track ‘Heart’ is a song about wanting to express what is hidden in the heart while being cautious in today’s world. It starts with acoustic guitar and gradually builds up to a band sound, reaching a climax.

The fourth track ‘Album’ is a song expressing the desire to neatly store our precious and beautiful love in the album of our hearts, decorated with a band sound harmonizing electric guitar and keyboards. It’s a lively song for O.WHEN.

Under the direction of producer Koo Ja Young, who heads the label, the album features co-producer Yang Si On, who is active with artists like Lee Juck, and Lee Yo Han, who has worked on many of O.WHEN's songs, as well as Kim Chun Choo from the indie band Silica Gel, providing arrangements and performances that further enrich O.WHEN's music. Top domestic engineers also participated in mixing and mastering, including Ko Hyun Jung and Kwon Nam Woo.

The album cover features illustrations by renowned cartoonist Myung Min Ho. Myung Min Ho has collaborated on various advertisements and dramas, including illustrations of the members featured in the recent tvN ‘You Quiz on the Block’ episode with BTS, and he is a popular artist with 640,000 followers on Instagram. He expressed joy in participating as a fan who enjoys O.WHEN's music.
