The more mature TEMPEST's stormy voyage, the release of ‘TEMPEST Voyage’

Last year, TEMPEST made a strong impression of the group's identity with the consecutive releases of [The Calm Before the Storm] and [Into the Storm], and now they return with their fifth mini-album [TEMPEST Voyage]. The fifth mini-album [TEMPEST Voyage] is an album that decorates the finale of the ‘storm’ series and captures TEMPEST's present as they begin their voyage into a wider world.

In this album, TEMPEST reveals their imperfect and chaotic inner self as if sailing through the vast ocean, explaining ‘the reason we chose this voyage’. Unlike their previous works that mainly showcased powerful and bright energy, they express a more mature TEMPEST through poignant and sophisticated music and performances.

The title track of the fifth mini-album [TEMPEST Voyage], ‘LIGHTHOUSE’, captures the story of TEMPEST, who has become stronger through the pains of inner growth. TEMPEST's determination to become a being that brightly illuminates even the dark and rough sea stands out.

Additionally, in this album, members ‘LEW’, ‘Hwarang’, as well as ‘Hyuk’ and ‘Tae-rae’ participated in the lyrics, drawing attention. This not only includes honest stories and musical interpretations that only TEMPEST can tell but also explains that TEMPEST's musical spectrum is gradually expanding.

LIGHTHOUSE is a song that adds pop elements to an exciting deep house base, with a melody that feels both emotional and grand. Produced by 72 (Choi Jae-hyuk) and hitmakers AVENUE 52 (Sean Alexander), SQVARE (Drew Ryan Scott), BANGKOK (David Anthony), and lyricist Jo Yoon-kyung, with members ‘LEW’ and ‘Hwarang’ participating in the lyrics, enhancing the song's completeness. The lyrics express TEMPEST's inner growth pains metaphorically as a ‘voyage’ saying “I will be your LIGHTHOUSE.”
