Urban Zakapa, the new icon of emotional music, releases a regular album after about a year.

Urban Zakapa, who gained recognition through 'Drinking Coffee', has increased their popularity with songs like 'That Day', 'I Don't Like You', and 'Same Love, Same Farewell', receiving solid support from music enthusiasts. In particular, the single 'I Don't Like You', released last year, created a sensation in the music market, soaring to the top of various music charts, signaling the emergence of a new music powerhouse. Following the success of 'I Don't Like You', the regular album (02) also showcased the artist's strength in producing 'good' music, as the title track 'Same Love, Same Farewell' competed fiercely in the charts alongside 'I Don't Like You'.
Additionally, Urban Zakapa, who shines on live stages, has headlined major domestic festivals such as the Green Plugged Festival, Jisan Rock Festival, and Grand Mint Festival, receiving much applause for their unique emotions and harmonies. Following last year's sold-out year-end concert, their nationwide tour this spring across 12 cities also achieved great success, marking them as a prominent artist capable of holding nationwide tours.

From their debut album, Urban Zakapa has written and composed all songs and produced the albums themselves, making each regular album a record of their growth. This third regular album [03], which took more than twice the working time compared to previous albums, is filled with attempts at many unfamiliar genres and melodies, showcasing a more refined songwriting that captures deep and rich emotions.

The first track of the album is 'Any Day', which expresses the heart of comforting oneself after a day's work, capturing the ordinary day of everyone, but the dreamy EP performance and soft strings, along with the brass and chorus added in the latter part, present an unexpected development.
The first title track 'Winter on the Tip of the Nose', which sings about the beginning of a long and lonely winter, is a standout piece by Jo Hyun Ah, known for her emotional ballads like 'I Don't Like You' and 'Drawing Spring'. With a deeper voice and refined emotions, 'Winter on the Tip of the Nose' starts softly with piano and vocals, gradually intensifying to a climax, deepening the sorrow of a long and lonely winter.

The song that brings the most musical change is the title track 'Being Different'. It expresses the lonely yet calm feelings about the incomprehensible heart of another person, with a sound that becomes more grand as the song progresses, solidifying the drama of the piece.

This regular album also includes solo tracks that highlight each member's charm. Park Yong In's 'Dancing' envelops a rhythmic bossa nova rhythm with a husky voice, expressing the exhaustion of repeated breakups and the desire to forget everything and freely express emotions. Jo Hyun Ah's solo track 'Melancholy' captures the lethargic melancholy of sleepless nights, maintaining tension throughout the song with sharp piano melodies and string performances, expressing a sense of isolation. Kwon Soon Il's solo track 'Dream' impresses with its repetitive piano theme melody and electric guitar harmony, narrating the process of waking from a dream. The song expresses the 'me' in the dream and the 'me' in reality with two different voices, evoking a sense of European ethnic pop ballad.

The second duet song 'Speak Up' by Jo Hyun Ah and Kwon Soon Il follows the popular 'inevitability', expressing misunderstandings between lovers. The harmony of Jo Hyun Ah's husky female vocals and Kwon Soon Il's charming high notes adds an unconventional fun on a well-crafted groove.

'Walking Backwards' is a song cut as a single last October, characterized by a slowly flowing piano and a restrained vocal that seems to be spoken flatly, resembling the loneliness of autumn. The accumulated regrets with each step taken after a breakup linger in the repetitive lyrics, leaving a long-lasting echo even after the song ends.

It does not offer hasty comfort. Like reading a memoir that captures the process of someone maturing and deepening their thoughts, Urban Zakapa's third album [03] conveys their own story with intensified emotions, telling listeners they are not alone in this lonely and long season.
