VIVIZ, which has always shown new aspects through albums with clear and diverse colors like their team name, returns with the fourth album 'VERSUS', which deeply addresses the numerous choices that determine destiny, following their intense and confident third album ‘VarioUS’.
 
The fourth mini album ‘VERSUS’ captures VIVIZ's concerns and answers within the two worlds of ‘the world created by others and the world I create’. Through various ‘VERSUS’, it tells stories of choices and decisions, expressing beautiful yet dangerous, challenging yet happy moments honestly without deception, prompting listeners to reconsider what they truly desire.
 
This new release includes a total of 5 songs, including the title track ‘MANIAC’. The title track ‘MANIAC’ is a song with impressive lyrics that sensually depict the act of hurting each other in the name of love, while acknowledging that this too is ultimately love, combined with an addictive melody. The performance by choreographer Kany, who has created choreography for renowned artists like Beyoncé and SHINee, further enhances its completeness. Additionally, the music video, which captures various emotions such as joy, sadness, and friendship, increases immersion with VIVIZ's expressiveness, providing a rich visual experience through diverse scene transitions and a delicate story.
 
Furthermore, songs like ‘Untie’, which expresses a determination to move forward without being confined to a small frame on social media, the R&B-based dance track ‘Overflow’ that expresses overflowing emotions that cannot be organized after a breakup, the lively medium-tempo pop song ‘One Step (Day by day)’, and ‘Up 2 Me’, which tells a story that begins with my decision, showcase VIVIZ's growth as they become more independent and mature.
 
Thus, this album, born from VIVIZ's numerous choices, is a color chip that contains various colors, unlike previous albums that expressed their intended messages through symbolic colors. While numerous colors exist in an orderly manner, they sometimes break the rules to create unpredictable combinations, continuously posing questions (choices) through various stories and guiding listeners to decide the direction of their own colors (destiny).
Listening to all five tracks they prepared will instill a belief that their concerns and choices will guide us to a good path, leading us to VIVIZ as if by destiny.
